Challenge: Redevelop Harrolds’ informational website into a fully new e-commerce website. In addition to allowing users to shop online for the first time, the client’s goal was to draw in a larger range of customers in Australasia and to improve the visual identity and user experience of the site.
Solution: After taking client’s initial brief, contextual research was undertaken to determine the direction of visual design and new brand identity. User personas and user flows were then composed, followed by wireframes, which adhered to eStar’s e-commerce admin platform, iSAMS. High-fidelity website prototypes and components were created in Adobe XD to present to the client for design and functionality approval. The new site allows users to shop online at Harrolds stores while ensuring users can find content easily and navigate the site efficiently.
