Fremont Solstice Poster
Challenge: Submit a poster design to promote Seattle’s Solstice Parade & Celebration. The winning design would be selected by The Fremont Arts Council and used around the city to promote the solstice event.
Solution: My submission to the competition was this colourful poster, which was displayed all around Seattle that year. The design aimed to capture the joyful exuberance of the festival and depict some of my favourite fixtures in the Fremont neighbourhood. Adobe Illustrator was used to create all elements of the design, including the decorative font. It was my first foray into font creation.
